This is me! I grew up in Charlotte and currently attend Montana State University. I’m the owner of Junkit and your direct point of contact on, and present for, every job.
Hi! I’m Miles, the owner of Junkit, a 2024 CVU graduate. Growing up in Charlotte, I always felt like I wanted to do work outside and get to know the community around me better. So, in 2021, with the help of a friend and a trailer, we started removing junk for friends.
We quickly found a passion for the work and hit it off with our neighbors, soon realizing we could make a positive change not only in our community, but in the environment around us. Then, “Junkit” was formed!
After countless hours studying the disposal process, touring facilities to learn about proper disposal methods, obtaining all our permits, licenses, and insurance, and working alongside Habitat for Humanity, we made it our mission to become eco-friendly. From that point on, we focused on saving and repurposing any usable items to be donated, resold, and reused. Properly recycling and correctly disposing of what’s left, because that’s what matters, especially at such a large scale.
Over the years, we’ve grown from simple pickups to handling large scale projects with ease, including hot tubs, sheds, estate cleanouts, and full property jobs. No matter the size, we take them on with even more care, reliability, and professionalism than the day we started. What hasn’t changed is who we are: your neighbors! Personable, local students who treat your home and property with genuine respect, making sure usable items are donated or recycled whenever possible. Because we care, and that’s what we get praise for!

"Here to say that Junkit is absolutely incredible, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. The Junkit team was so flexible with us as our piles and plans shifted several times over the past few days. They were polite, great communicators, and presented with the attitude and maturity I wish that most business owners twice and three times their age would have. I have frequently been discouraged by the lack of professionalism from people 10 years ahead of them, and this team has reinforced my hope in the younger generation.
It should be known that I am not typically one to take the time to write reviews, but Miles and his team deserve all the praise for what they have created and sought to do as a business. They are setting such an example for others while also meeting a need in the community and doing good for the whole. They carefully dispose of items properly and sort through them to preserve what can be donated, and more.
Thank you, Miles, for an experience beyond our expectations. Your help and kind, gentle smile will not be forgotten. We hope you keep in touch as you continue to grow and succeed. We have no doubt that you will, and hope our son grows to have your work ethic and way of relating to others."
