Our Approach to Giving back!
We do our best to give usable items a second life whenever possible. Many clean-outs and junk removal jobs include items that still have value, and we sort through them to identify what can be repurposed, reused, or donated.
When it makes sense, those items are staged in our storage areas at home and redirected back into the community, where we know they're most accepted, rather than heading straight to disposal facilities.
Our sorting proccess
Sorting is a huge part of our process and happens both during removal and afterward. We sort items into clear categories, including hazardous waste, electronics, metal and recycling, organic waste, repurposable items, donations, and regular disposal. For smaller jobs, we're able to load efficiently in the truck based on these categories and our route. For larger jobs, we often use a separate truck specifically for usable items, keeping them protected and helping streamline the process.
As items accumulate and space is used, we're able to determine which facility we need to get to next, or when it makes sense to return to"home base" for unloading and in-depth sorting! This approach allows us to work carefully and thoughtfully without slowing the job down, on your time!
We're constantly planning and adjusting our routes to stay on schedule, dispose of everything properly, and save as much as we can, and we wouldn't rather have it any other way.

If you'd like, separating smaller items you'd like donated from trash helps us work more efficiently. Bagging or boxing donation items also helps keep items clean and protected during transport.

Recycling & Proper Disposal
Not everything can be donated, but that doesn't mean it all gets thrown away. We sort out recycling whenever possible and handle all other materials responsibly based on local guidelines. Items that can't be reused or recycled are disposed of properly through approved commercial facilities, ensuring everything is handled correctly.
We're licensed with the state of Vermont and CSWD for hauling, so you can trust that everything we remove is handled legally and responsibly. From donation drop-offs to recycling and disposal, we follow the proper process for each type of material.
